The company CATELLI FILATI was founded
in 1951 by Ubaldo Catelli producing for over 40 years sewing threads for the
field of footwear, leather goods, furniture, clothing, mattress, of quilting
etc. .. In 1994, following the death of Ubaldo Catelli, the company was taken
over by his daughter Mariacarla Catelli has continued his father's work also
introducing new production technologies and machinery more and more modern
and in 1999 the firm became "CATELLI FILATI Srl": Ms. Mariacarla
Catelli was flanked by his sons Massimo Carruba and Richard Carruba. The use
of auxiliary yarns and top quality, use of high technology machinery and the
continuous pursuit of quality of the product, from the foundation, specific
and recognized by the Company to them operates both on the domestic market
and abroad. Productive activity, initially created to exclusively produce
cotton yarn 100% has always been evolving under the laws of the specialized
market than sewing thread in general use which include the synthetic
polyester fiber is continuous and discontinuous, poliamide 100% and poliester
covered with cotton coated with special treatment. The main production,
therefore, includes: Polyester 100% continuous HT (Royal), 100% Polyamide 6.6
continuous HT (MAXI), 100% Polyester discontinuous (RIKI), polyester covered
with 100% cotton glacor soft (POL - COT). In addition, to satisfy every need
and offer a wider range of yarns, the company also produces: Polyester
covered of polyester (KARL), 100%; Polished cotton (STICK); Mercerized cotton
(STICK); Yarn by Crochet (ROYAL); Yarn of high mechanical properties, high
resistance to heat and to abrasion such as KEVLAR, NOMEX,
DYNEMA. The company has dry cleaner's in which we realize dyeing, lubrication
and control of the yarn and where you can meet all request a color sample. |
